When I meet with someone for the first time, I ask them, “Tell me about your financial plan?”

Recently, I received the answer: “I have a 401k.”

So what in the world is a financial plan?

I believe that a financial plan is an adventure map with clear next steps explaining how you get from where you are to where you want to go in an optimal way.

Our mantra: Your goals determine your plan. Your plan determines your portfolio.
